Zhao Yingmin, head of the Chinese delegation and vice minister of the Ministry of ecological environment, said after the meeting that the detailed rules for the implementation of the Paris agreement reached at the current conference are of great significance for safeguarding multilateralism and focusing on the implementation of the Paris Agreement, and will open a new journey in the global response to climate change. UN Secretary General Guterres said in a video statement after the closing of the general assembly that the participants had taken important steps, but it was "not enough". He called on developed countries to honor their commitment to provide us $100 billion a year to help developing countries cope with the climate challenge.
